James Blunt Live in Manila

Tin, JD, Golda, Agnes and Oliver, Kelly, Zara and moi trooped to Araneta Coliseum last May 19 to see James Blunt perform. Because we got hold of the tickets late (tapos nagpasundo pa si Golda, nagpapedicure si Agnes at naligo pa si Tin), we were only able to catch the last five or so songs. It was worth it though. James (heehee, first name basis) definitely rocks! And oh, have I mentioned? We got the tix for free!

cinema paradiso

We all "wander through fiction to look for the truth," as Goo Goo Dolls puts it. And what better way to do it than watching films that provoke, enlighten, provide intellectual orgasm (or maybe just orgasm, haha) and entertain? Here's a few of my favorites...

Barkada Trip (Ilocos Escapade, Day 1)

After hibernating for the past couple of months, we finally had the chance to abandon our books/cases (not that I really spent time with them, haha) and enjoy the summer. Enjoy we did, as Tita Cely (Tin’s mom) invited us to go with her on her work-related trip to Ilocos. Although the ride from Manila to Ilocos was 12-hour long and we did not have much space in the car, we were all so excited to notice. The two-day sight-seeing, swimming, bonding and camwhoring was definitely one of the most enjoyable trips I’ve ever had.

Here’s our itinerary:
Day 1
Narvacan Church
Baluarte
Vigan Heritage Village
St. Augustine Church
Burgos Museum
Hidden Garden
Syquia Mansion
Night swimming at Nalbu
